Post Production Scripts for documentaries often require a little more editorialising than scripted drama (ie: when compared to features and fictional TV).
A doco PPS will generally be in the standard television style. It will always refer to voice-over and on-screen dialogue, however background and other unscripted dialogue may not be included depending on contextual relevance.
It will also always refer to context-relevant written words on screen (graphics, supers, signs, handwriting, news headlines etc).
Unscripted character names, unclear audio and unusual pronunciations, and incidental or background music, are often issues requiring close co-operation between the post production staff or producer and the WOT team (> Credits).
